NNOPU Donors Conference and tour- May 2009

The NNOPU Donors Conference was held in Kampala on May 6, 2009 and a tour of many of the organizations that registered as members of NNOPU followed. The outcomes were:

NNOPU coordinates the celebration of the International Day of Older Persons - October 2008

The International Day for Older Persons was commemorated at Kitatya Primary School Wabwoko Sub-county in Kayunga District. The theme of the celebrations was “Ageing with security and dignity” to promote the spirit of active ageing and productivity and to recognize the contribution of older persons to national economic development.
