About NNOPU

The constitution of NNOPU notes the following objectives:

Promote public awareness about older persons concerns, rights and responsibilities in Uganda.
Contribute in the building of the overall capacity of the older persons.
Advocate for equal opportunities.
Network and coordinate with bodies/ stakeholders nationally and internationally.
Engage in the monitoring and evaluation of the older persons’ programs.
Act as a forum for sharing issues.
Participate in the mobilization of resources (financial, technical and material) to facilitate the implementation of the network’s programs.
Enhance the professional capacity of its members.
