Vision: A society where all older persons age with security, respect and dignity to live to their full potential, where their rights and responsibilities are excellent.  
Purpose/objectives:
  1. To intensify the fight against oppression of the older persons and abuse of human rights, campaign against corruption and embezzlement and promote justice, good governance, transparency, accountability, ethics and morals in Uganda.  
  2. To infuse into older persons a new lease of life and hope
  3. To assist older persons and their households attain social security and economic independence through participation in government economic development programs.

 

Background: The organisation started in 2006 with the above objectives to fight corruption that has oppressed older persons causing deterioration of their living standrds.

  • Mobilisation and sensitisation of older persons
  • School subsidy for orhan grandchildren
  • Defending legal rights of older persons
  • Provding a ICT Resource Centre

  2. Distribution of materials
  3. Capacity building and development
  4. Enable older persons overcome social and physical impediment, infrastructural limitations, gain equity and legal representation and protection to which they are entitled as human beings.
