1. Seeing that people cannot take ageing as a disease or a sin. |
| Purpose/objectives: | 1. To uplift the health status of older persons. 2. To assist the elderly and people with disabilities start sustainable skilled income generating activities. 3. To get support for orphans. 4. To promote social relationships in the community for older persons and people with disabilities. 5. To establish programmes and activities that link the elderly and youth. |
| Background: | Bukadde Magezi Association was formed as a voluntary organisation to prosper the health of elderly persons and people with disabilities (PWDs). Through its projects, the elderly and PWDs will be able to acquire practical skills, have healthy minds and learn new methods of sustaining. The Association will work hand-in-hand with already existing elderly organisations in the country and abroad, irrespective of political and ideological background. |
