Vision: Social, economic and mental empowerment of orphans and vulnerable children and their families.
Purpose/objectives:
Background: PEFO was founded by 3 orphans educated by Mill Hill Missionary who wanted other orphans to be able to live happy and meaningful lives. They found that many were cared for by their grandparents so the project expanded to also focus on providing adequate shelter and learning agricultural skills at Pefos farm. Currently the organisation receives funding from the Stephen Lewis Foundation and World Granny. Funds have enabled the purchase of an environmentally friendly brick making machine that does not require bricks to be fired and therefore reducing tree felling.
